Teach in Canada and Abroad
We offer a TESOL Certificate program that conforms to TESL Canada standards and Language Canada’s Quality Assurance guidelines. Trainees will be able to explore teaching, learning and language through task-based, participatory and interactive practice.
Program Duration
5 weeks (100 instructional hours, plus a 20-hour practicum)
Program Schedule*
Monday to Friday, 9:00AM – 2:00 PM + practicum When a statutory holiday occurs, class hours will be made up on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Practicum
Trainees become classroom-ready by teaching international students, alongside their TESL Canada approved host teacher, in a DEA College classroom during their Practicum week using the knowledge and skills they have acquired in the TESOL Certificate Program.
A World of Opportunities
After graduating successfully from our TESOL Certificate at DEA Canadian College, you will have the required training and experience to work at the DEA Canadian College, and other international schools in Canada and abroad.

- Undergraduate Degree
- Non-native speakers’ language proficiency: TOEFL IBT
- Score of 101 OR IELTS Academic 7.0 overall
