With an ageing population, the need for personal caregivers to tend to ill loved ones are on the rise. Study the skills to provide the best care possible to your family or friends who need help. You’ll prepare to take the next steps toward being confident in your abilities to care for others through foundational courses such as Home worker and support worker.
Participants must be at least 19 years old to register, attend all sessions and pass all quizzes with a satisfactory mark in order to receive a certificate of completion. This is a non-credit course (cannot be applied towards the completion of a degree).
Upon completing all the requirements for graduate students will receive a certificate from DEA Canadian College
At least 18 years of age.
Evidence of IELTS 4.5 or equivalent; [evidence can include an IELTS evaluation, or similar testing assessment to the level which can be closely deemed as equivalence (ie TOEFL IBT)] or the student can take the College’s language proficiency exam.

At the end of this program, students will be able to demonstrate a knowledge of working as a Home Support Worker.
These goals will be achieved through the courses that prepare graduates to meet general learning outcomes for the program.
