This program is offered in collaboration with the ‘American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute”. Widely recognized as the preeminent leader in hospitality certification, the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI) certifies hospitality professionals in all facets of the hospitality, hotel and tourism industry.
The program covers The Lodging and Food Service Industry, Supervision in the Hospitality Industry, Managing Front Office Operations, Managing Housekeeping Operations, Managing Technology in the hospitality industry, Hospitality sales and marketing, Managing Service in Food and Beverage Operations, Hotel and Restaurant Accounting.

In addition to their Hospitality Operation Certificate, graduates of this program will be also certified in an American Hotel and Lodging Association (AHLA) Certificate.

Admission Requirements

At least 19 years of age. Evidence of IELTS 5.5 is required; the following equivalent tests are accepted instead of IELTS 5.5 (ie TOEFL IBT, TOEIC, CELPIP, Duolingo, Eiken, Cambridge, CEFR, and PTE.)

Learning Objectives

  1. Define and demonstrate outstanding guest-service quality, server-guest relationships and ethics. 
  2.  Develop an awareness of the various career opportunities and options within the hospitality industry. 
  3. Demonstrate the skills and behaviors required during customer involvement to analyze, judge and act in ways that contribute to customer satisfaction.
  4. Define and explain food production terms and principles, including food safety and sanitation practices, apply key principles in operating foodservice establishments, and evaluate and critique the effectiveness of such applications.
  5. Evaluate, analyze and determine the application of service marketing theories and principles in promoting hospitality businesses.
